Workshop: Experimental Short Film Workshop

Adopting a found footage process, students will learn how to add a narrative to given video footages in an experimental manner. The instructor will also discuss the use of voice-over, music and text to enhance a short film.

Rising Singaporean filmmaker Victric Thng is known for his experimental take on seemingly ordinary situations. His observations of human relationship are so acute that his films have been globe-trotting to festivals. This showcase of films reflects his growth as a filmmaker. They include the films the award winning “Locust” and “Closer Apart”.
